North Korea’s leader Kim Jung-un has asked architects reportedly charged with redesigning a military airport in the east of the country to submit designs to upgrade Pyongyang’s airport (paywall) as well, according to the South China Morning Post.

Changi Airport’s new Enchanted Garden

Once visitors weave through the garden the motion sensors will trigger sounds of nature and blooming flowers, while fibre-optic and LED lighting embedded in the floor will form a carpet of sparkling lights. A fish pond is also featured here, filled with archerfish and koi. Visitors may obtain fish food from the stationed staff and feed these habitants of the airport.

Adelaide Airport unveils Google Maps’ Indoor Street View Technology

The navigation works like Street View so viewers can explore both the departures and arrivals levels of Adelaide Airport’s main terminal building. The technology – available through the airport’s Google Business Photos initiative – even lets you ‘walk’ down one of the aerobridges and out alongside the edge of the runway in a 360 degree experience.
