Dear Simplifliers,
October is going to be an active month for me with three different speaking engagements in three different time zones. If you’re in the area, ping me and I’d love to meet up. Here’s the list.
- On October 8th I’ll be leading an invite-only round table session for aviation practitioners in social media, at the Inbound Marketing Summit 2009, in Boston, MA. This is the conference for the social media elite in North America to hang out with the likes of Chris Brogan and Justin Levy (+many more). First time I’m participating in this one, and quite an honor.
- Come October 12th and I’ll be keynoting in Al Ain, UAE at the Low Cost World Middle East Conference . I’m speaking about how budget airlines can drive revenue from social media, possibly controversial, but essential topic I believe.
- October 20th finds me on a panel at the WebInTravel Summit in Singapore, in conjunction with ITB Asia. It is sure to be a provocative panel where I share my thoughts about Twitter in travel.
I’m still thinking through my keynote presentations and panels. I’m keen to focus on the future of social media in airlines thinking not just about revenue potential, but also about engaging the loyal customer.
