[Presentation] Top 10 Airlines on Instagram: Visual Engagement finds a foothold in the world of Airline Marketing

A few weeks ago, we published a two-part Special Report on How Airlines are using Instagram. To gain a complete picture of the way airlines are using this new and exciting platform, we performed extensive research that led us to analyse the presence (or lack thereof) of over 150 airline brands on this platform.

Based on that research, we have assembled a case-pack showcasing the ten best examples of Instagram usage by airlines. We’ll look at a wide range of examples: from airlines that excelled in driving user engagement to others that stood out for their innovative destination marketing initiatives or  those that simply found a unique way to launch their presence on this social network and drive buzz.

A growing network

Ever since Instagram’s acquisition by Facebook, the online and marketing communities have been paying increasing attention to this platform and its growth potential. As we have seen in our special report, this mobile-based network has managed to create and maintain a healthy community of users, complete with its own unique culture, while also updating and improving its platform.

Given this huge community of users, and the immensely attractive visual component of the platform, it is not surprising that airlines on Instagram have looked to drive key business goals such as community engagement, driving destination awareness and for route marketing. We hope you enjoy the case-pack below:
