The #NotLegacy way to succeed as an aviation entrepreneur #FIA16

I’m an aviation entrepreneur. But not many have been as fortunate as I have, to have survived over five years. Aviation industry is not very kind to startups. There are high barriers to entry, significant costs to startup and it’s an industry plagued by external factors (Brexit, anyone?). So those who make it have to be unconventional to succeed. But what exactly are their secrets to success? A lot of it has to do with culture and brand (as our experiments revealed).

What better place to find out, than one of the largest gatherings of top aviation entrepreneurs and executives? This week, we will be interviewing legendary aviation entrepreneurs who have taken the road less travelled to success. These includes the likes of Steve Udvar-Hazy, the godfather of aircraft leasing, Tony Fernandes of AirAsia and Robert Deluce of Porter Airlines, among others.

If you could ask one question to these entrepreneurs, what would it be? We will ask something from the community everyday too, so do share!

The #NotLegacy show will be broadcast Live! from the air show every day on Facebook and Twitter/Periscope. All interviews will be available on the #NotLegacy show website, so do tune in.

Note: The series is powered by the Bombardier CSeries.
