[Presentation] Driving Results from Customer Engagement – The Road Ahead for Airlines in Social Media

After three years since starting SimpliFlying, and over 50 presentations worldwide, I finally had the opportunity to present for the first time in Africa. I delivered a speech at the Aviation Outlook Summit Africa, in Johannesburg, South Africa. I presented to a room full of senior executives from African airlines and airports, on driving results from customer engagement and the road ahead for airlines on social media.

I shared how to build a basic ROI model and dashboard for social media efforts, as well as how to prioritize and categorize social media campaigns. I’m sharing the presentation here for your viewing pleasure (click here if you can’t view it).

The presentation was very well received and I had an enthusiastic response with lots of questions during the break that followed. The icing on the cake was when a senior Boeing executive shared with me that he had finally signed up on Twitter after my presentation!
