New this year – Best Emerging Airline/ Airport on Social Media
Aside from the fact that we are expecting to reach a new record in the number of votes (over 33,000 and counting), one of the reasons why we are particularly excited about this year’s SimpliFlying Awards is the introduction of the new award category – Best Emerging Airline/ Airport on Social Media.
This category was introduced to shine the limelight on and give recognition to airlines and airports that are fairly new players in the game i.e. started social media in 2011. That said, presentation pitches submitted by our finalists for this category are of extremely high quality, we couldn’t be more thrilled to reveal it here.
