[Presentation] How Airlines are Engaging the Connected Traveller — Key Stats, Behaviours and Case-Studies

Yesterday, I delivered a keynote at Eyefortravel’s Travel Distribution Summit Asia 2014.

I presented some key stats on the emergence of the connected and what airlines need to know about them. I shared the following:

  • Today’s Connected Travellers are deal-seekers.
  • They are multi-screen shoppers.
  • Demographics of connectivity are changing — older users are migrating to the digital landscape faster than ever.

Each of these facets requires careful thinking by airline marketers. Following this, I shared four case-studies on how airlines are engaging customers at each stage of the new Connected Traveller Lifecycle. The entire presentation is below:
