Dirk Singer

Dirk Singer is the Head of Sustainability at SimpliFlying and a recognised voice on climate strategy in aviation. A veteran strategist and founder of award-winning creative agencies, he has spent the past five years focused on sustainable innova- tion across the airline ecosystem. He co- authored the first volume of Sustainability in the Air, which examines how aviation is responding to the climate challenge through technology and systems change. His work—spanning white papers, essays, and a widely read industry newsletter—has shaped how leading airlines, airports, and startups approach net-zero goals.

Shashank Nigam

Shashank is the founder and CEO of SimpliFlying, a global leader in aviation strategy and sustainability. Over the past 18 years, he has advised more than 130 airlines and airports worldwide. His insights have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the BBC. His first book, SOAR, became an Amazon bestseller and is part of the curriculum at Cranfield University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He co- authored the first volume of Sustainability in the Air, now taught at MIT, and hosts the acclaimed podcast of the same name.
